授業科目の内容

実際の受講生の興味、英語能力を確認するまで具体的な内容は決めにくいですが、構造的なアポローチをとるつもりです。センテンスの構成から始まって、段落の構成を経て文章全体の書き方に至ります。各自の興味に応じて、最後に完成された文章（エッセイ、新聞記事、学問的なテキスト、物語など）を提出してもらいます。この文章を１１回目の講義に提出することになります。評価の大きな一部分になります。
場合によっては受講者を同じテーマかジャンルに興味に応じてグループ分けをします。

The content of the class will depend to some extent on the eventual English level and area of interest of the participants. However I propose a structured approach, beginning with sentence and paragraph formation in order to work up to a final submitted text of the individual student’s choosing: creative writing, essay, newspaper article, short academic essay etc. This final piece of writing will be sumbmitted in the penultimate class and will forma a major part of the assessement.
Class participants may be divided into groups with similar areas of interest.

成績評価方法

授業中および、宿題として書いた文章20%, 最後の授業で提出する文章40％、期末テスト4０％の割合となります。

自分の英語能力より能力が低い／高い人と一緒に勉強し、助け合うことができること。
Students should be prepared to work together with and possibly assist those with relatively higher or lower levels of ability.
英文法の基礎をマスターしていること。
It is expected that students will have mastered the basics of English grammar
