授業科目の内容

In this writing course we will focus on how to write a paragraph. This will include how to write a topic sentence,
how to construct the 'body' of a paragraph, and how to write a concluding sentence. Students will
write a total of three paragraphs over the course of the class. In addition to paragraph writing, students
will be given instruction on how to paraphrase, an important skill in academic writing. Finally, we
will also cover summary writing, another important skill in academic writing. The course will be
conducted in English and Japanese.
