授業科目の内容

この科目は「リアルタイムオンライン配信型面接授業（スクーリング）」として開講します。受講に際しては、Zoom、K-LMS、Googleドライブ等のオンラインサービスの利用が必須ですので、基本的な操作・利用方法を各自で確認したうえで履修申告を行ってください。

This course aims to help students develop practical and effective English writing skills for academic and semi-academic contexts. The course focuses on two major writing genres commonly required in English-medium assessments and university-level tasks.
The first part of the course develops students’ ability to analyze and summarize information by selecting and reporting key features from visual data such as graphs, charts, maps, and process diagrams, as well as making clear and relevant comparisons. The second part of the course focuses on structured opinion-based writing, in which students express and support their views on a range of contemporary social issues using clear reasoning, relevant examples, and personal experiences where appropriate.
Across both writing genres, the course emphasizes strategies for improving clarity, organization, vocabulary use, and grammatical accuracy. Students will receive guidance on how to plan, structure, and revise their writing in order to communicate ideas more effectively and with greater confidence.
