授業科目の内容

This course will now be taught on-line. All materials for the course will be sent in advance. Students will then slowly work though the materials. The materials will include reading passages, vocabulary exercises and of course writing activities. We will examine the three major styles of writing; narrative, descriptive and expository.

成績評価方法

Final grade will be based on a combination of:
Writing assignments
Short test

受講上の要望、または受講上の前提条件

1. Students can contact the lecturer through email, if they have have any questions related to the course.
2. Students should be at a level where they can read short articles from an English language newspaper such as The Japan Times and be able to understand roughly 70% of the vocabulary and content.
