Students who are interested in improving their writing skills for IELTS should take this course. To prepare, buy the textbook and do some background research on the IELTS test with a specific focus on the writing sections.

授業科目の内容

This course will help students to improve their band scores on the writing section of the IELTS test. The IELTS writing section has two parts. Task 1 is an analytical essay where candidates have to summarize information by selecting and reporting the key features from graphs, pie charts, maps, or process diagrams, and make comparisons where relevant. Task 2 is an opinion essay where candidates express their personal views on a range of social issues and provide supporting reasons, examples, and experiences. Both Tasks shall be addressed and strategies will be shared so students can understand and make improvements in the four IELTS assessment criteria: task response, coherence and cohesion, lexical resource, and grammatical range and accuracy.
